A bit of context..

Octadoc was founded by MM Dr Inês Baptista. Our mission is to help GPs get home on time. Medicine shouldn't be this hard, and technology can be our friend. We aim to give doctors the time and mental space to focus on their patients, not their notes.

If we look after our colleagues, then everyone will benefit. Medicine shouldn’t be a way of living. It’s a job, not your whole life. And we are here to help.

We also believe in equal care for all – this means having energized doctors who can focus on each patient, in a consistent and safe way.  When you have a million things to juggle, this can be a very hard task to achieve. We want to make it easier to get the important things right.

 

Customer engagement and sales representative

When working at Octadoc, you will be visiting GP practices and speaking to GPs . Our aim is establish a trusting relationship with a network of GPs, so we can best serve them.

This means bringing value to the GP and understanding their challenges. Our goal with this approach is to:

1.     Identify and gather new customers

2.     Collect feedback that will help improve the platform

3.     Create a trustworthy relationship

This process can take many forms, including sitting in with GPs to help them with their notes and organising lunch and learn sessions to discuss their challenges and how we can help.

Once the initial contact is done, you will follow- up with the GPs and collect feedback/complete a sale. This contact will be ongoing to ensure our customers are happy and have all their needs met. You will be in charge of organizing your schedule as you see fit.

Requirements and Qualifications

·       You are a medical doctor registered with AHPRA

·       You have clinical experience (GP experience is preferred but not essential)

·       You have a network of doctors that can help you get started

·       You are comfortable with sales and money

·       You are computer literate but are ready to learn what you don’t know

·       You are passionate about the different challenges that female GPs face

·       You are a team player and are ready to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

·       You communicate well and have incredible listening skills

·       You are a finisher, so you are happy to call people and collect feedback on what worked and what didn’t

·       You are keen to learn and grow your skills and understand that every day is an opportunity

·       You fit the job description, but you see value in showing initiative and going above and beyond

·       You aren’t scared to give things a go, even if you might be out of your comfort zone
